Our Office

Lakeside Ophthalmology Center (LOC) is located in the Executive Square office complex in central Macomb County approximately 1 mile south of Lakeside Mall in Clinton Township.

The office is staffed by friendly courteous employees who are prepared to assist you in making your experience as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. The office is open Monday – Friday along with 1 Saturday per month.

To accommodate those with insurance coverage we participate with as many different health care plans as possible. Please consult the “Insurance Information” page for a detailed list of insurances. Dr. Mobley is a medical doctor (M.D.) and thus performs eye exams and procedures that fall under the medical insurance category. However, we also offer exams for glasses and contact lenses which come under the umbrella of vision insurance.

Just a reminder – your vision insurance does NOT cover an exam if you are having problems that are related to an eye disease – this is only covered under medical insurance just as if you had a medical problem with any other part of the body. Conversely, your medical insurance will not cover a routine exam for eyeglasses/contact lenses unless you have a vision rider.

For your convenience we have an Optical shop – The Lens Boutique – adjacent to the office which provides a wide array of eyeglass frames and contact lenses. This allows for “one-stop shopping” for your vision needs.

Finally, we appreciate your time is important to you and we work hard to see you at your appointed time. But since we are a medical practice emergencies and unforeseen events occur from time to time creating delays in the schedule. We hope you understand this and be patient when these circumstances arise.
